Dental care is inherently important, but not inherently expensive. We strive to keep our fees as reasonable as possible. As a service to our patients, we submit claims to a wide range of dental healthcare plans.

FINANCE

We know the importance of informing patients of the cost of care needed prior to doing so and to offer varied methods of payment for those services. We accept cash, check, debit card, MasterCard®, VISA®, Discover® and CareCredit®.

We are pleased to offer CareCredit®! CareCredit® is a convenient, low minimum monthly payment program for your entire family designed to pay for healthcare and elective treatment not covered by insurance. CareCredit® has a variety of low minimum monthly payment plans. They offer two types of payment plans:

      • No interest (0%) plans (6-24 months)
      • Extended low interest plans

With CareCredit® you can:

      • Pay for co-payments, deductibles and treatment not covered by insurance;
      • Start treatment immediately and pay over time with low minimum monthly payments;
      • Pay for other healthcare expenses for you and your family without having to reapply;
      • Reserve existing credit cards for household or unplanned expenses;
      • Have no annual fees;
      • Have no upfront costs.

INSURANCE

We will assist in submitting claims, sending pretreatments, and providing insurance companies with narratives, letters and follow-up on unpaid claims, etc.

Please be aware that dental benefit plans are designed to only SHARE in your dental care costs and are not designed to cover the total costs. In addition, many plans implement restrictions and limitations. We will, to the best of our knowledge, help you to understand your plan and its limitations if the information is available to us.

We are often asked by patients if they must go to a PPO or "In Network" provider. The answer to that question is NOT NECESSARILY. This is one of those areas regarding dental insurance that is often misunderstood. Of course there are exceptions, but it is not always necessary to go to an "in network" provider to get dental benefits. In fact, we have many patients with these types of plans who continue to have all their dental services done here, and they still continue to receive dental benefits regardless of the fact that we are "out of network." What we have noticed is that sometimes the only difference is where the payment is sent. Since we are out of network, the payment might go directly to the patient instead of being sent to our office. In most cases, though, the coverage is the same or similar.
