Since we respect our patients' time, we make every effort to schedule appointments efficiently and to adhere to the amount of time scheduled. Due to the high value we place on your time, we make every effort to be prompt with our scheduled appointments. However, emergencies and unforeseen circumstances sometimes occur which may cause an unexpected delay. Your patience and understanding are appreciated. Whenever possible, we will attempt to contact you if we anticipate a delay in the schedule.
Please register at the front reception desk when you arrive for your appointment. If you are a new patient, please arrive 10 minutes earlier to review your completed dental and medical history and your registration form, which includes your insurance information. If you have insurance, please remember to bring along your insurance card.
For existing patients, if you have any changes to your address, health or dental insurance, please arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment time so we can review those changes. For insurance changes, please bring your insurance card with you also.
We try to confirm appointments by telephone one or two days prior to your appointment (if requested), but please do not depend on this courtesy. If we are unable to contact you, your appointment card will serve as the confirmation of your appointment and implies your obligation to be present.
If you are going to be delayed or miss your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. A 48-hour notice for an appointment cancellation or reschedule allows us to better serve our entire practice, including you. With notice, we can give another patient the opportunity to come in during that opening in the schedule. ‡
